Roster for each season games
In preparation for the next season, the division manager will ask all eligible full-club members for their commitment to play games in the O65 Division on Sundays. Only committed players for the next season will be on the next season’s roster. No other external players can be a part of the seasonal games. The player roster is limited to a minimum of 24 players (6 players per team) and a maximum of 32 players (8 players per team) per season. The roster will be used to select the teams for the upcoming season to have balanced teams.
Team selection process for each season
The teams will be selected before the beginning of the new season. The selection process should be:
1. All players on the seasonal player list, are drawn out a hat. The chairman of our committee will draw the players’ names from a hat. Each player will be assigned to a team (A to D) one after the other.
2. If we have unbalanced teams, the committee will compensate for this.
3. Each selected team chooses its captain for the coming season.
4. The selected team must play for the entire season and cannot be adjusted with new players.
5. The teams drawn will not be adjusted after the first game and so will remain the same for the entire season.
6. If a player does not want to play on the drawn team, the player will not be exchanged with another player from other teams. If he does not accept being on his team, the player will be out for the rest of the season.
7. A team that loses a player during the season cannot replace his spot. This means that this team will only have 7 players available for the rest of the season.
If a team loses TWO players, another team can surrender a player who will then play on the team that has been reduced by two players for the duration of the season. This decision must be made in agreement with the four captains.
